Kundalini is the yoga of awareness. Using the pranayama (breath), mudra (hand positions), and dristi (eye focus) you will cleanse and strengthen the mind, body, and spirit. When we consciously regulate the sounds we make through the use of mantra, breath, and rhythm, we produce profound positive effects for our well-being. Kundalini yoga is a process and an experience. Sometimes it takes 4 or more classes before you begin to feel your your energy shift. A profound sense of stillness and peace will wash over you. This connection will never leave you. It is common for individuals to dress in white because it represents the highest vibrational energy and to cover your head with a scarf to contain the kundalini energy, though you are welcomed to dress however you feel comfortable.
