Hatha Yoga is an approachable, come as you are, mixed-levels yoga class that includes movement, mantra, and meditation. Newbies to teachers are welcome!
This playful class is inspired by the alignment work in the Iyengar and Anusara yoga systems as well as new, functional movement modalities. This class is not flow-based, though it is a great training ground for vinyasa practitioners.
We will workshop alignment for classical yoga postures, explore variations for all bodies, practice balancing, challenge ourselves with strengthening holds, breathe consciously, and practice offering ourselves and each other lots of grace along the way.
