Through the practice of staying in each shape for 3-5 minutes, Yin Yoga not only stretches the muscles but also the connective tissues. The practice often targets the hips, pelvis, and lower spine in a simple practice appropriate for all ages, levels of fitness, and flexibility. This deep practice of stillness is a beautiful, though sometimes challenging, opportunity to connect with our mind and heart. All levels welcome.

Release, relax, and rejuvenate in this class designed for all bodies. Restorative Yoga is perfect for anyone looking for a more restful approach to their yoga practice. A perfect counterbalance to the stresses of life, this practice encourages the body and mind to unwind, relieves tension and pain, balances energy, and supports the healing process. Yoga props are utilized to promote absolute comfort. Long, supported holds of 5-20 minutes give space for each practitioner to relax. Postures, soothing breath-work, and calming music all layer together to provide a space to explore your ability to soften on and off the yoga mat. All levels welcome.

Gentle Yoga

Easeful movement builds strength, flexibility, and balance. Plenty of props including chairs are available for your support and comfort. All levels and all ages welcome!
